Article 1 (Definition of Personal Information)

“Personal information” refers to information as defined under the Personal Information Protection Act of Japan. This includes information relating to a living individual that can be used to identify a specific person—such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, and other identifiers—as well as biometric data including facial images, fingerprints, voiceprints, and health insurance numbers that can independently identify an individual.

Article 2 (Collection of Personal Information)

In addition, the Company may obtain transaction records and payment-related information from affiliated third parties (including information providers, advertisers, and advertising networks; collectively referred to as "Affiliates").

Article 4 (Change in Purpose of Use)

1. The Company may change the purpose of use of personal information if the new purpose is reasonably related to the original purpose.
2. In the event of such changes, users will be notified through methods specified by the Company or via announcements on this website.

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

1. The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the individual, except in the following cases or as otherwise permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws and regulations:
   1. When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual and obtaining the person's consent is difficult.
   2. When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and obtaining the individual's consent is difficult.
   3. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government agency, or a party entrusted by such an agency, in the execution of duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the individual’s consent may impede the performance of those duties.
   4. When the following information has been provided or made readily accessible to the individual in advance, and the Company has submitted a report to the Personal Information Protection Commission:
      1. That the purpose of use includes the provision of personal information to third parties;
      2. The specific data items to be provided;
      3. The means or methods of provision;
      4. That the Company will cease the provision of personal information to third parties upon the individual’s request; and
      5. The procedures for submitting such a request.
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the following cases do not constitute the provision of personal information to a third party:
   1. When the Company outsources the handling of personal information, in whole or in part, to a third party within the scope necessary to achieve the stated purpose of use.
   2. When personal information is provided in connection with a business transfer, such as through a merger or other form of succession.
   3. When personal information is shared with specific third parties for joint use, and the individual has been notified in advance or is in a position to easily access the following details:
      - The purpose of joint use;
      - The categories of personal information subject to joint use;
      - The scope of parties involved in the joint use; and
      - The name or title of the individual or entity responsible for managing the personal information.

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

1. Upon request from the individual, the Company will disclose the relevant personal information without delay. However, disclosure may be withheld in whole or in part if any of the following apply. In such cases, the Company will promptly notify the individual of its decision. A processing fee of ¥1,000 per request will be charged for the disclosure of personal information.
   1. If there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
   2. If there is a risk of significantly hindering the Company’s business operations
   3. If disclosure would violate applicable laws or regulations
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Company will not, in principle, disclose information that does not constitute personal information, such as access logs, usage history, or device-related identifiers.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

1. Users may request correction, addition, or deletion ("correction, etc.") of their personal information if they believe it is inaccurate, in accordance with the procedures specified by the Company.
2. Upon determining that such correction is necessary, the Company will promptly update the information.
3. Users will be notified without delay of the outcome, whether the correction is made or not.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)

1. If a user requests suspension of use or deletion of their personal information due to alleged misuse or collection beyond the intended scope, the Company will promptly investigate the matter.
2. If the request is found to be valid, the Company will take appropriate action, including suspension of use.
3. The user will be notified of the decision.
4. If suspending use is difficult due to high cost or other significant reasons, the Company may instead implement alternative measures to protect the user's rights.

Article 9 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)

1. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time without prior notice, unless otherwise required by law.
2. Any changes will take effect when published on this website, unless otherwise specified by the Company.
